Video will become available 10 minutes before session start

As the WSIS+20 review shapes the future of digital development, the Internet Society community has a key role in ensuring its outcomes preserve the conditions for an open, globally connected, secure, and trustworthy Internet for everyone. This networking session will be an opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and discuss key priorities for WSIS+20. Internet Society members and partners will leverage data-driven success stories to demonstrate how the multistakeholder approach delivers long-lasting benefits for people worldwide. We’ll present discussion ideas to serve as conversation starters that will help us explore how we can collectively contribute to advancing the WSIS vision by turning them into actionable recommendations for decision-makers.

Our online moderator will be in charge of tracking and enabling the participation of people attending remotely. At the same time, we’ll design and deploy a collection of surveys that we’ll utilize during different portions of the section to help steer the conversation; participants will be invited to answer them regardless of their location. Moreover, the discussion ideas we’ll use as conversation starters will result from weeks of online collaboration among Internet Society members and partners. After this session, we’ll continue the conversation in the same space, willing to offer engagement opportunities for members and partners worldwide.
